ACCOMMODATIONWe currently offer two different houses (see Prices and Booking) Rural House A (pictured on the left):The equivalent of a four-star hotel, this mansion was reformed as part of a plan of human heritage preservation. Located in the centre of the oldest part of the village, on the way of the Route of the Emperor (followed by Charles V on his way to the Monastery of Yuste), this magnificent building was originally built in the 16th century. The house has been reconstructed with care and taste, respecting the original architectural elements and using local materials (oak for the beams across the ceiling, bricks and tiles made and fired locally). All these elements provide a genuine flavour of local architecture. Seven large twin rooms (all en suite and with central heating), equipped with exquisite taste and comfort, and a balcony with views to the most quaint of mediaeval squares (where a small fountain greets us just outside the house), are just part of the charm of this welcoming building. Many cosy resting and reading spaces, two fireplaces, an honesty bar, sauna (small charge), hydro-massage and a small gym, make this house an ideal environment to enjoy the peace and a perfect place to share the experiences enjoyed by the group during the day. You may share the room (same gender) or have single occupancy (for prices see Prices and Booking) Rural House B (pictured on the right):The equivalent of a three-star hotel, and with a more rural flavour, this charming mansion house was built at the end of the 19th century, maintaining its traditional architecture of ceilings made of chestnut wood, plus stone walls, slate slabs and floors tiled with original tiles. Bedrooms are roomy, with an ample and luminous space, en suite bathrooms and central heating. They all have small balconies enjoying beautiful views to the back gardens or the main street, plus a musical fountain. Four of the six bedrooms have double beds, which makes this house an ideal location for those who prefer single occupancy. The back garden (with plenty of space for meetings, sunbathing, reading or siestas) is bursting with geraniums, roses and hydrangeas. The living rooms, both with fireplaces, maintain the ambience from the beginning of the century, and are tastefully ornamented with agricultural and rural objects. If you are coming with friends, a supplementary bed can be arranged (three single beds in one room). Please ask us. You may share the room (same gender) or have single occupancy (for prices see Prices and Booking)
